find your way in gothenburg

Wherever you are in the world, you will find Gothenburg easily accessible. Most of Europe is reachable by train and within three hours by air. 

By air, you will arrive at Landvetter Airport. Travel to Gothenburg by bus (tickets and information) takes about 20 minutes. If you choose to go by taxi, it is about a 15-minute ride. Taxis are found outside of the arrival hall. 

By train, you will arrive at Göteborg Central (the Central Station), from where you have the options of public transport and taxis. 

Public transport in Gothenburg

Public transport is excellent in Gothenburg, getting around is easy. The city’s extensive and well-organized transport infrastructure includes light trams, buses, and commuter boats.

Payments with your contactless credit card as a Pay-as-you-go with only a tap make traveling the city easy. Use either the Västtrafiks website , or download the app Västtrafik To Go to plan your trips.

The closest stops to Reveljen are:

  • Vagnhallen Majorna, from this stop, it is a 1500-meter walk to Reveljen along the river front (Light tram nr 3 and 9)
  • Nya Varvsallén, from this stop, it is a 1200-meter downhill walk to Reveljen (Light tram nr. 11)
  • Örlogsvägen, from this stop, it is a 300-meter walk to Reveljen (Bus 91. Note that this bus only departs twice per hour)
  • Klippan ferry stop, from this ferry stop, it is a 800 meter walk along the river front to Reveljen (ferry 285)
